About MecKidz

MecKidz is the Children’s Ministry of Mecklenburg Community Church. We serve kids from birth - fifth grade, teaching them about Jesus in a way they can understand. MecKidz is here to partner with you, the parents, to lead your children to know, love, and serve Jesus. This is why we make it easy for you to have access to reliable resources, engaging bible stories, and weekly recaps so you never have to miss a beat!

MecKidz is where your child will engage through games, music, dance, challenges and more. We believe church should never be boring! Your kids will laugh, play and have a blast while we partner with you, the parents, to lead them to know, love and serve Jesus.

You can join us online or in person. Either way, your kids will love it!

At Meck, we believe kids can choose to become a follower of Jesus. Which means kids can and should get baptized! If you think your child is ready for this important next step, you and your child will need to take the Baptism Orientation class. Check out the MecKidz Baptism Orientation informational page and learn about the next baptism orientation and celebration.

We believe baptism should follow a conscious decision to become a follower of Jesus. Because of that, we do not baptize babies. Instead we offer Baby Dedication. Dedication is an event for parents of babies to come together with the church and commit to raising their child in a Christ-Centered home. Fill out the Baby Dedication Interest Form to learn more about this next step for your child.
