Leadership Development Program

The Leadership Development Program is a 9-month initiative designed to give current and emerging leaders a foundational knowledge of the Bible, an in-depth understanding of the mission of the Church, a clear picture of Christ-like leadership, and a renewed vision for their role and purpose in the Church’s mission. The ultimate goal is to better equip those called to leadership in the Church so that they can maximize their impact on this world for Christ.

Throughout the year, participants will immerse themselves in a challenging curriculum, meet with Meck staff and fellow leaders for focused personal growth, and attend seminars taught by Senior Pastor Jim White.

The program will blend in-person and online participation and comprise three Saturday morning seminars, two meetings with a Meck staff mentor, on-demand instruction, and a community platform for program participants. Before submitting your application to the Leadership Development Program, please take a moment to look at your calendar and confirm that you be present on the following dates.

Attendance
This comprehensive program requires your commitment and dedication. As a result, the first requirement is attendance. We ask that you consider postponing the submission of your application until the following year if you are not able to attend all the in-person teaching seminars. Additionally, you’ll be required to attend two cohort meetings with a staff mentor (once in October and again in February/March). These meetings will be scheduled separately according to your availability.

At-Home Assignments
In addition to attending the in-person seminars and meeting twice with a Meck staff member, participants will be assigned on-demand content (including videos, podcasts, articles and book selections) and asked to respond to discussion questions and assignments on our online community platform. Finally, participants are responsible for reading the following books at different points throughout the program:
i. Hybrid Church by James Emery White
ii. Developing the Leader Within You 2.0 by John Maxwell
iii. The Life You’ve Always Wanted by John Ortberg

Bonus
All participants will receive complimentary access to the 2025 Church and Culture conference, including on-demand access for a limited time.

Program Fee: $50/participant
The cost of participation is $50, which will be collected upon acceptance. Note that the $50 does not include the price of the required books.

You must apply to be considered for this program. Due to limited space, a completed application does not guarantee acceptance into the Leadership Development Program. You must be a member to participate in this program. However, you can apply prior to going through our membership process so long as you complete it before the start of the program.

We are taking applications through June 30, 2024.

We believe this program will provide great value to your life, your work, and your ministry. We hope that you will prayerfully consider applying to be a part of this exciting experience.

Applications are open until June 30, 2024. Click HERE to apply.
