Dominican Republic Global Extension Trip

Project Mañana is a ministry located in the Dominican Republic. Their work is holistic in nature and seeks to help break the cycle of poverty by investing in impoverished children, their families, and communities through clean water, nutrition, education and discipleship. They employ between 60-70 local community members and strive to build up the community to be self sustaining, while also sharing the Gospel and love of Jesus to those in the community. Meck's partnership with Project Mañana will include sending a team from Meck for a week over the summer to walk alongside Project Mañana, deepen our partnership, and be a part of the work that God is doing through Project Mañana.

WHO CAN ATTEND: Minimum age for attending this trip is 13. 

IMMUNIZATIONS: Up-to-date Tetanus required. Hepatitis A/B and Typhoid are recommended.

COST: ~$2100

TRIP DATES: August 22 - 29, 2026

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
$100 - due by January 31 (Managed Missions opens on January 1, 2026 to make payments)
$1000 - due by March 31 (to ticket the flights)
$1000 - due by May 31 (remaining balance)
