Crisis Assistance Ministry

Crisis Assistance Ministry (CAM) in Charlotte, NC is a place for families facing financial crisis. The mission of CAM is to provide aid to those facing financial hardship and to provide the resources needed for families to become self-sufficient.

A serve day at Crisis Assistance Ministry involves working alongside others in either the free store or the warehouse sorting clothing donations, performing quality control checks, and hanging clothes to get them ready for display in the free store.

There are two monthly serve day options:

  • First Saturday of each month (9 - 11 a.m.)
  • Second Wednesday of each month (9 - 11 a.m.)

Please meet at the Spratt Street location 10 minutes prior to start time in order to gather as a team in the parking lot. Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in this serve day.
