On Friday, April 7, we invite you to join us for the Good Friday Trail Experience - a journey along the Meck Trail through Jesus' final moments on Earth as He resolutely made His way to the Cross. Using your mobile phone (with headphones, please), you'll enjoy an immersive experience as you explore various Stations of the Cross meant to transport you to that final week of His life and allow you to feel the weight of what Jesus did for you. Because while Jesus' suffering wasn't good, what it achieved was very "good" for us. Our hope is that this reflective walk will make the joy of Easter Sunday even more significant.
No tickets or registration needed! Just stop by Meck's physical campus anytime from 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. for this immersive experience. We encourage you to download the Meck app ahead of time, as this is how you will access the audio and other resources as you walk through the trail.
The Grounds Bookstore and Café will also be open during the same hours, so stop by before or after your walkthrough for a delicious beverage or snack!
Parents: This experience is geared more towards middle school age and older. You are welcome to bring your younger kids, but we encourage you to take this time by yourself to reflect on the weight and significance of this day. However, we will have a kid-friendly handout/resource for them if they do come.
