Habitat for Humanity in Charlotte, NC works to build affordable homes for those in our local community. This is an amazing opportunity to make a significant difference for those who struggle to find affordable housing in the Charlotte area
Serving with Habitat for Humanity involves local building projects in and around the Charlotte area. The task and location of the serve day will be updated monthly on this page. If you don’t have any previous building experience, that is okay! There are trained Habitat staff on each worksite to help guide and train you on any given task. These serve days take place on the third Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Although if you are not able to stay for the entire time, that is okay!).
Closed-toed shoes are required for this serve day. It is also recommended that you bring work gloves if you are able. If not, Habitat will provide them for you.
