Fall 2020 looks a little different this year with so many of our favorite local festivals and must-see spots closed.

The good news is that Meck's got you covered! Mark your calendars for Friday, October 30 for The Meck Fall Trail Experience.

Pack the family in the car and head over to Meck anytime from 5 - 9 p.m. for a walking experience through Meck's nature trail that will feature activities like a pumpkin patch for every family to pick a pumpkin, photo spots, and did we mention... free harvest treats as you and your family go trick-or-treating on the trail?

The Meck Fall Trail has everything an autumn-lover is looking for with:

  • Trick-or-treating (the good candy)
  • A pumpkin patch for every family to pick the perfect pumpkin
  • Costumes are welcome (non-scary, please!)
  • Fire pits
  • Plenty of fall-themed photo ops
  • Stop by the hospitality tent to try some caramel apple cider or hot cocoa
  • Live music
  • Special complimentary treats like pumpkin donuts for adults and kids alike

No matter how old you are, make this a must-attend event this fall.

FAQs

"Can I bring my dog?"

Yes, you're more than welcome to bring your dog. We just ask that all dogs remain on a leash at all times and that you clean up after any waste.

"What can I expect? Can we wear costumes?"

You can expect a peaceful walk through Meck's backwoods which will include fun, fall games and, at the end of the trail, we'll have fall activities, treats, photo ops and more to enjoy with friends, family or whoever else you would like to join you. Also, non-scary costumes are encouraged! Make sure to tell your friends and invite everyone you know to check out this festive harvest event.

"What should I wear?"

This is a walking trail through the woods so please wear what you're most comfortable in. We recommend closed-toe shoes.

"Can I bring a stroller?"

We do not recommend using strollers on this trail as it is not best suited for strollers.

"Do I have to wear a mask?"

You can rest assured that we are taking every measure to keep you safe. We're asking everyone to abide by social distancing rules which means keeping a distance of six feet. If you find yourself in a position where you're approaching someone within that distance, we ask that you bring a mask and wear it.

"Free treats? What safety precautions are you taking?"

All volunteers and staff will be wearing masks and gloves. Furthermore, we will take breaks often to wash hands and sanitize high traffic areas and touch points.

"What other safety precautions are you taking?"

All of our staff and volunteers will be wearing masks, following social distancing guidelines and making sure guests are following these state-mandated guidelines as well. We will also have our staff sanitizing bathrooms. All guests must wear a mask upon entering The Grounds or the West Atrium for restroom use per state laws.

"Will the Meck Trail be open after this event?"

As of now, this is a one-night event.
