Time Until Easter at Meck

Q: Are you having Easter services at Meck's physical campus?

A. In light of COVID-19 and the requests of the NC Governor, we are canceling our Easter services at Meck's physical campus. Join us via our Online Campus on Sunday (8:15, 9:30 and 11 a.m. and 1:30, 5:30, 7 and 8:30 p.m.) and Tuesday (12 and 7:30 p.m.). We are called by God to treat others as we would want to be treated, and to serve and love those around us. While most of us are not at serious risk from COVID-19, we have many in our community who are—namely the elderly and those with preexisting medical conditions. If the spread of the virus is not quickly contained, not only will it put many we know and love in danger, but our medical system will be overwhelmed and unable to serve the vulnerable in need.

To provide the necessary social distancing for the spread of this virus to slow, the North Carolina Governor asked for all gatherings of 100 or more people to be cancelled or postponed. Easter at Meck brings together thousands. We have a responsibility of love to our neighbors to gladly comply.

But just because a church takes a break from physically gathering together doesn’t mean it ceases to be a church! We all know that a church is more than bricks and mortar, and while called to gather for worship it is vastly more than weekend services. During this time, we will continue to offer services through our Online Campus and we hope you join us for this unforgettable online Easter experience!

Q. Do we need tickets if these are online only Easter services?

A. There's no longer a need to register for free tickets for Easter at Meck, but we highly recommend finding a time that works best for you and your family and marking your calendars for this unforgettable online Easter experience!

Q. Will MecKidz (children's ministry) offer anything for the online Easter at Meck experience?

A. MecKidz will offer a family-friendly online experience that will not only dig into the Easter story but will also include fun activities for the entire family to do together.

Q. What is the service like?

A. While we don't want to give away any of the surprises, we can tell you we've put together an online Easter service that combines the best of the Meck-vibe with a meaningful Easter celebration.

Q. Will there be Online Campus services on Easter?

A. Yes. The Online Campus will show the Easter service on April 12 and 14.
