This online course will help you answer these questions and more as you're introduced to biblical principles on material wealth like:

  • examining misconceptions about ownership and responsibility

  • trusting God as provider
  • gaining freedom from debt

Based on a message series by Senior Pastor James Emery White, this online course is a good first step toward financial freedom!

First Steps Baby Dedication Class

Let's face it, parenting is challenging. In First Steps, we'll help parents explore three important topics: staying connected with God, staying connected with your spouse and raising a child who knows and loves God. This two-hour seminar class is ideal for new parents. While you are not required to be a parent of a newborn, or have your baby dedicated at Meck, this class is a requirement for Baby Dedication.

Old Testament Overview

There are some crazy battles and rules about not eating bacon and even a story about a guy that was thrown into a lion's den and didn't die because God protected him! There is history and law and poetry and prophecy. In Old Testament Overview, we dig into the story of the Old Testament and answer some of the most common questions that Christians and non-Christians alike have asked. If you've ever wondered if the Old Testament is still relevant, you're going to want to join us for this study.

There is a clear command in the Bible to care for the widow and the orphan, and to serve the least and the lost. Serving at a nursing home is a wonderful way to be able to do this, and a fantastic opportunity for families to serve together.

Olde Knox Commons is Meck's partner for our Nursing Home Ministry. The activities that we do with the residents and the simple act of being there to spend time with them, brings so much joy to their lives.

Join us on Saturday, March 7 from 9:15 - 10:30 a.m. helping to serve at this home and to begin building amazing relationships with both the residents and other people from Meck!

We'll explore how to have spiritual conversations, how to share our own stories, how to explain the good news of Jesus simply, and so much more.

Crisis Assistance Ministry is the community's emergency room for families facing financial crisis who have nowhere else to turn. The assistance they receive prevents homelessness and loss of utilities. Come be a part of serving on the local mission field in Charlotte!

Join us on Saturday, March 14 from 9 - 11 a.m. helping to serve the working poor in Charlotte as well as meeting other Meck members and attenders!

Join us on Saturday, March 21 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. to participate in this serve day. For those who have served with Habitat in the past, you know that this is an amazing way to spend a Saturday and to make a difference in the life of a local family.

Barium Springs Serve Day

Barium Springs Home for Children is an organization committed to providing a "Safe Home" for children through group homes, therapeutic foster care and adoption programs. They strive to provide healing for individuals that are troubled, abused or neglected through educational, prevention and developmental programs.

It is through these group homes that Meck is able to serve by taking one evening a month to provide dinner for the children staying there. This affords the room parents a break from the cooking for the night, and allows Meck to show these kids that people in their community care about them.

Please join us on Tuesday, March 24 from 5:15 - 7:30 p.m. to participate in this serve day. If this is your first time serving with this organization, you will be contacted by one of our team leaders who will review some of the specifics related to serving with Barium Springs.

Olde Knox Commons is Meck's partner for our Nursing Home Ministry. The activities that we do with the residents and the simple act of being there to spend time with them, brings so much joy to their lives.

Barium Springs Home for Children is an organization committed to providing a "Safe Home" for children through group homes, therapeutic foster care and adoption programs. They strive to provide healing for individuals that are troubled, abused or neglected through educational, prevention and developmental programs.

It is through these group homes that Meck is able to serve by taking one evening a month to provide dinner for the children staying there. This affords the room parents a break from the cooking for the night, and allows us to show these kids that people in their community care about them.

MAX-Camp

MAX-Camp is short for summer camp, and it's the best week of summer for MAXlife Middle school ministry. All MAXlife students and anyone in middle school is welcome to attend.

This year for MAX-Camp we are trying something new. We're heading to a camp with over 45 acres packed full with a pool, lake, docks, kayaks, paddle-boards, mountain bikes, paintball, and so much more. Check out what's coming your way this year at MAX-Camp:

This trip is a student favorite, and each year our camp brings in extremely talented worship artists and guest speakers who engage our students in worship and God's word. All of our students come back saying they've made friendships that have truly impacted their lives. This is an amazing trip.


The dates of the trip are June 15-19. After registration you will receive emails updating you on the necessary information that you need to know.

The cost of camp is $295. Payments must be made online, and can be made all at once or in three installments. Full payment must be paid by June 1.

Price includes all meals, lodging and transpertation. Bring any extra money you desire for souvenirs or extra snacks.


***Please note that ALL payments made for this trip are non-refundable after February 8th. We commit to the number of spots as each student signs up. So even if your son or daughter can no longer attend, we still have to pay for their spot.
