MecKidz Baptism OrientationWednesday, May 22, 2013 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. Campus: North Charlotte What is it? A unique presentation where parents and kids review what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and explore taking the next step of baptism. *MecKidz Baptism Orientation is a prerequisite for baptism.
Who’s it for? Kids age 2nd - 5th grade who have already accepted Christ as their Savior and Forever Friend. Kids must attend with their parents.

Unglued- Women's Summer StudyWednesday, June 19, 2013 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Campus: North Charlotte Based on the book by the same name, the Unglued Bible study by Lysa TerKeurst aims to help women make their emotions work for them instead of against them. She does this by helping them understand how to resolve conflict and find peace in their most important relationships, identify what type of reactor they are, how to respond without regrets, and how to gain a sense of calm in circumstances out of your control. This will afford the room parents a break from the cooking for the night, and allow us to show these kids that people in their community care about them. Habitat for Humanity Serve DaySaturday, July 20, 2013 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Charlotte Area Meck serves with Habitat for Humanity in the Charlotte area. Come join us in building something that impacts the lives of those in need in our local community!
On Saturday, July 20, we will be serving with Habitat for Humanity in the Charlotte area from 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m (Habitat's hours for summer serve days). The specific details of the serve day will be given to us two weeks prior to our scheduled serve day. All team members will be contacted with the site location and task, and the event website will be updated.

Remember to wear comfortable work clothes and closed toed shoes. It may be helpful to bring some work gloves along as well, if not, Habitat will be able to provide them for you.
You can either bring a sack lunch with you to the serve day, or plan to eat offsite at a nearby restaurant.

BaptismSaturday, Sept 14, 2013 - Sunday, Sept 15, 2013 Campus: Lake Norman, Mountain Island Lake, North Charlotte On the weekend of September 14/15, Meck will be having our Baptism Celebration Weekend. We will come together at all of our sites to celebrate and will be having baptisms during each of the weekend services at the Lake Norman, Mountain Island Lake and North Charlotte campuses. If you would like to go public about your decision to be a Christ-follower (whether it's only been a day or a decade), Meck would love to share this amazing experience with you. Just register below for our upcoming baptism and you will be contacted with more information. Children must be 2nd grade and above and must attend the MecKidz Baptism Orientation prior to baptism. On Saturday, September 21, we will be serving with Habitat for Humanity in the Charlotte area from 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Habitat's summer serve hours).
