Foundations IV
Tue, Oct 21, 2014
7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Campus: North Charlotte

The fourth and final installment of Foundations focuses on two things: serving and evangelism. One of the best ways to thank God for all He has done on our behalf is to use the gifts that He has given us to serve others. But not only do we get to serve others, we also get to invite others into a relationship with God by sharing with them what He has done. You don’t want to miss this!

Instructor: Patricia Vanek

Date: Tuesday, October 21

Cost: None

Prerequisite: Foundations I, Foundations II and Foundations III

Mom-Sense: Sensible Solutions for Moms

"My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her."
-- George Washington (1732-1799)
Wow – what incredible words. Being a mother is a privilege and a huge responsibility, filled with laughter and tears, triumphs and failures - this is no job for the weak or faint of heart! It's clear from the quote above – Moms make an impact! So what kind of impact are we making on our children? Join together with other Moms for times of encouragement, tips, challenge and interactive dialogue as we discuss topics related to raising our children, marriage and our own spiritual lives.

The Ten Commandments have received a lot of press in recent years. But while most people know that they come from Scripture and provide a basis for biblical ethics, the general attitude seems to be that they are irrelevant and outdated. But what if they weren’t? What if they still form the foundation for godly behavior? We’ll explore these questions and more in this segment of the Saturday Series.

New Testament Overview
Mon, November 17, 2014

The New Testament comes with its own set of questions. Why are there four biographical accounts of the life of Jesus, rather than just one? In New Testament Overview, we explore these questions and more as we walk through the second half of the Bible.
