Second Harvest Food Bank

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina strives through education, advocacy and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. Come out and serve on the local mission field in Charlotte!
 
The Second Harvest Serve Days are typically held on the fourth Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Please note the new time - this is so that we are following the schedule that Second Harvest has in place for when they start their orientations. The following is the schedule for 2012:
  • January 21* (3rd Saturday)
  • February 25
  • March 22* (Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.)
  • April 28
  • May 19* (3rd Saturday)
  • June 23
  • July 28
  • August 25
  • September 22
  • October 27
  • November 17* (3rd Saturday)
  • December 8* (2nd Saturday)

Please meet at the Spratt Street location by 8:50 a.m. in order to gather as a team in the parking lot. Second Harvest had requested that we limit the group size to 15, so register early to make sure that you have your spot!
