Class FAQs

We offer classes in Bible, theology, spiritual disciplines, spiritual gifts, worship, marriage, parenting, finances, leadership and more. Our classes are small and interactive to encourage questions and discussion. As you learn, you meet other people and feel more 'connected' to the Meck community.

We offer classes for the beginner, like Bible Basics, and for the advanced student at the seminary level.  A course catalog and schedule are available on the left side of this web page.

 

Our teachers consist of Meck staff and members who are highly knowledgeable. Many of them have seminary degrees or other formal training in the topics they teach. They welcome your questions and are accessible beyond the classroom. Their greatest desire is to help students grow in their relationship with Christ.

 

Weekly classes and monthly seminars are offered at various days/times. For information on a specific class, check the course description and Meck Institute Calendar on the left margin. 

 

For some of our Meck Institute classes, paid childcare is provided with advance registration. Classes on marriage and parenting typically include childcare as an option. Be sure to check each class description to see if childcare is offered. All childcare workers are screened by our KidzSafe staff.

You can register and pay for childcare online with your class registration. Be sure to include the names, ages, food allergies, and any special needs of your children in the comments section of your registration.

 

The cost for most classes is between $10-35 for books or participant guides. Seminary level classes include a modest tuition fee of $45 or less. 

The cost for childcare, when available, depends on the length of session. The cost is approximately $5 per hour per child/ $10 for two or more children. Check specific class information for complete information.

All costs are payable with online registration.

 

You can purchase your class materials when you register for the class and they will be handed out on the first day of class. If you'd like to pick yours up prior to class please contact the Meck Institute.
